In TecCom Portal, suppliers now have the possibility to set up a membership profile. This is a further development of the supplier profile from TecLocal. The settings are only effective for customers who use TecCom Portal.
Suppliers can set up general settings for units of measurements, currencies, material handling and maker codes as well as upload their own Supplier Logo to be displayed in the shopping cart of the orderer.
In addition, request, express and stock order settings can be set up, with general options, dispatch modes, mandatory and supported fields, as well as adding informative texts.
The profile can be saved as well as activated and deactivated.
Help texts are displayed in the entire membership profile for a better understanding.
The default settings of the membership profile can be restored at any time by clicking the Default button.
The section general contains General settings for the membership profile. Here, you can define which Units of Measurements and Currencies are supported by the profile owner, and how materials are identified using Material Handling, such as buyer product number or EAN.
Furthermore, it is possible to select supported Maker Codes and also to create new ones.
These sections contain settings for request, express and stock order settings of the membership profile. These can be deactivated individually, so that the orderer is no longer able to carry out this function.
Ship-to addresses supported determines whether ship-to addresses are processed by the profile owner. If the function is deactivated, buyers cannot select a ship-to address.
Duplicated orders accepted and Alternative articles provided are displayed as an informative indicator to the customer, no validation is done TecCom.
The Requested delivery date defines how the delivery date field is interpreted. Possible selections are:
Required fields such as Buyer Order ID and requested delivery date, which are necessary for the supplier to process the order, can be defined here. If a mandatory field is defined, it must be filled in the shopping cart by the orderer.
Supported fields contain fields that are supported by the supplier for orders, which are optional fields.

The supplier can provide Informative Texts which will be displayed in TecCom Portal on the orderer's shopping cart page.
It is also possible to define a language to be Set as default language, which is always used if a language has been selected by the orderer, but no texts for this language have been provided by the supplier.
For the dispatch mode it is possible to change the name of each dispatch mode and it is also possible to enter the shipping costs of the respective dispatch mode in the text field.
It is possible to rename the price fields that the orderer sees on the Request and Order and New Journal pages.
The settings in the profile can be saved by clicking the Save button.
